Probably Stolen
What is Probably Stolen?
Probably Stolen is a cyberpunk shopkeeping simulator developed by Questing Goose Studio and published by tinyBuild. You run a store on a space station, buy and sell goods of questionable origin, deal with factions and Security, and try to buy out your shop before the rising rent forces your hand.
When did Probably Stolen come out and how much is it?
It released on Steam on 28 October 2026 at $19.99, €19.99 or £16.99, with a 10 percent launch discount running for two weeks. The store page listed the discount as ending on 11 November 2026 when this page was checked on 29 October 2026.
What platforms is Probably Stolen on?
The official release is the Windows PC version on Steam. The store page lists Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM and 1 GB of storage as the minimum, and does not list a console or mobile version.
How many starting scenarios are playable?
Nine: Apprentice, Water Merchant, Fence, Gunsmith, Chemist, Hydroponic Farmer, Aquafarmer, Rat Wrangler and Rock Bottom. The start screen shows twelve rows, but three are locked and labelled Work In Progress, and two more exist in the files without being selectable.
About this site
Is Lower Levels Ledger an official site?
No. Lower Levels Ledger is an unofficial field guide. It is not affiliated with Questing Goose Studio or tinyBuild, and it does not host the game.
Does this site host the game files?
No. Pages explain the game. The only official build is the Steam release, and this site links to it rather than mirroring it.
Is the browser remake official?
No. The remake at probably-stolen.online is an unofficial fan project with its own original code and art. It is not published by Questing Goose Studio or tinyBuild, and it is labelled as fan work wherever this site links to it.
How often is the content updated?
Pages are reviewed when the game changes or when a source moves. The current review date is shown in the footer and on every page: 29 October 2026.
Do you use review scores or star ratings?
No. A score would imply a test we did not run, and rating markup without real ratings is structured-data spam. Pages describe mechanics and trade-offs instead.
Where do the player and wishlist numbers come from?
From the tinyBuild launch press release of 28 October 2026, which reports over 500,000 wishlists, nearly 40,000 peak concurrent demo players and over 660,000 unique demo players. They are dated snapshots, not live counters.
Why is the site called Lower Levels Ledger?
The game is set on the lower levels of a stratified space station, and the guide is organised like a ledger: dated entries, filed facts, and a record of what was checked. The name is ours, not the developer’s.
Can you play Probably Stolen in a browser?
The official release is Windows PC only, on Steam. The browser version is an unofficial fan remake, not a port of the Steam build. Play Probably Stolen in your browser (fan remake)
